Double victory at the German Design Award for Glimakra of Sweden!

Wakufuru Acoustic Furniture wins “Gold” on GDA in the Furniture category. In addition, the sound-absorbing furniture screen, LimbusFloor Subtle, is rewarded “Winner” in the Office Furniture category.

Wakufuru is a system of tables and benches that combines sound absorption and solid wood in an innovative way.

The price is a confirmation of the care and ambition we put in the design process and the development of the furniture are premiered internationally, says designer Johan Kauppi.

LimbusFloor Subtle are sound absorbing furniture screens with wooden legs in ash and fabric covering. The proportions provide calm but distinctive characters and gives the floor screens a free and creative expression.

The award ceremony takes place in conjunction with one of the world’s largest consumer fairs, the Ambiente Fair , in Frankfurt on February 9, 2018. The fair is visited by approximately 140,000 people from 150 countries.
