Design - Kauppi & Kauppi

A stripped, slightly narrower version of Barn which is developed for projects where the ceiling height is about 2.40 m. The design has a clear horizontal expression, inspired by the landscape of Swedish Lapland. The system is based on acoustic panels of fabric, mounted at consistent distances, giving the furniture a balanced combination of sound absorption and transparency, for large-scale repetition in public interiors. For Barn Compact, there are fixed benches and desks that can also be supplemented afterwards.
